General Nursing & Midwifery

The goal of a two-year diploma programme for dialysis technicians is to provide knowledgeable, skilled dialysis technicians who can work efficiently in clinics, nursing homes, dialysis centres, and multispecialty hospitals. The skill set needed by a dialysis technician who can successfully take on responsibility in the field is taught in a diploma programme in dialysis technique.

The training programme offers entry-level professionals in the dialysis therapeutic support industry a skill-based accreditation. The essential knowledge and abilities needed to operate dialysis machines on patients are taught to students. Pupils who pursue higher-level certification can eventually expand their knowledge and skills in the relevant field. The DDT course aims to equip students with a foundational understanding of theoretical ideas as well as domain-specific knowledge and abilities.

Through the use of medical equipment or machinery, excess water, solutes, and toxins are carefully extracted from the blood during dialysis. It is a term used to characterise people with kidney disease or those whose kidneys have mostly stopped functioning.

The number of kidney-related patients has increased in recent decades as a result of alterations in lifestyle and behaviour. Consequently, there are now significantly more dialysis units in hospitals and clinics. To run these units efficiently, a competent technician who can complete the procedure properly is needed.
