Anaesthesia Assistant is an important part of an operating team. They assist the anaesthetist and provide necessary help for maintaining and use of anaesthesia equipment, drugs and instruments. He/She is responsible for patient safety and recovery.

The trainees will be trained in the skill in the institute and hospitals.

• Eligibility: 10+2 Examination with Medical Subjects i.e; Physics,mistry and Biology, Age upto 35 years as on 1st January of the year of admission
• Duration: The course is of 24 months duration. The jammu and Kashmir state paramedical and nursing council will conduct two annual examinations and award a diploma on successful completion of the course.
